With an installed user-base of more than 50 million, iHeartRadio streams more than 1,000 U.S. terrestrial radio stations, and 400,000 custom artist and talk radio stations.
From 2011 to 2013, I was head and only UX design lead for iHeartRadio’s mobile platforms:
iPhone, iPad, Android, Kindle, Windows Phone 8, Blackberry10, iHeartRADIO Auto (connected automotive head units) and Chromecast.
My career at iHeartRadio started in Oct 2011. When I arrived, we were currently engaged with an external agency to design and develop the Android app. Soon after starting, I brought the design process in-house. Improving the UX, and introducing new features to our users along the way. iHeartRadio went from being a 2.5 star to a 4.5 star app with over 50 million users.
I managed, researched and designed the UX, design, and wireframes that went towards each release cycle from the 4.0 iPhone and Android app to the overall redesign of the app & steaming player that launched in 2014.
